REVIEW |
February 06, 2007 The first track on disc 1 is strange for an opening track (titled "Opening") in that it lasts less than 1 minute and is very quiet with a few sound effects. Track 2 is more like other Yamato CD's and starts with a theme with female chorus that's been heard on several discs but with the addition of some sound effects. Tracks 3 - 9 are typical Yamato music with the exception that many of the tracks also include some background sound effects.Track 4 seems to have more sound effects than music. I think disc 1 would have been better off labeled "Sound Effects Yamato" rather than "Sound Fantasia Series Yamato". Tracks 10 - 32 are all sound effects. Disc 2 is more typical with a variety of music although many tracks do still contain background sound effects. Unless you are specifically looking for a Yamato sound effects disc, disc 2 is the better of the two in this set. Overall unless you want sound effects, there are better Yamato discs out there to spend your money on. |
