October 20, 2006 This CD is #119 in the Animex 1200 set of limited releases (limited to 5,000 copies). In general, most of the ANIMEX CDs are budget reissues of older Columbia LPs. This one is reasonable priced at http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/. This CD has one of the shortest times of any in this series, clocking in at just under 36 minutes. The music that is here is fine and shows a good range of styles and tempos. Definitely an interesting listen. The first and last tracks are lively vocal tracks with tracks 2 through 11 being instrumental. |
