This two CD set is made up of opening theme songs from the Sentai series ofJapanese TV shows. The Sentai series in America is adapted as The Power Rangers. These two discs are very short at just over 38 and nearly 32 minutes respectively. They also only contain 10 tracks each. I have no idea why this was broken up onto two CD's when the material could easily have fit on one disc. The music is comprised of a variety of J-Pop vocals. None of the songs really grabbed me much but they were pleasant enough to listen to. I have never been a Power Rangers fan and never watched the show. This CD may be more exciting to someone who follows the series. |
Super Sentai Series Theme Songs
The tracks are given as the series title, then the song title. Not 100% sure about the singers' names. Sentai series titles are rife with puns, more often than not, for example the 'Deca, of 'Decaranger' is a pun on the latin for '10' and the Japanese slang 'dekka', 'detective'.
