August 30, 2008 Just as the title of this CD says, this disc is composed of many lullabies. Some will be familiar and others will not. The tunes here are done with just piano and violin. Takaya Urakawa plays violin while Mamiko Ogawa handles the piano. The CD is beautiful sounding and the violin and piano work is crystal clear. If you are a fan of lullabies it might be worth checking into. The CD is on this site because track 13 is an Akira Ifukube track. |
