REVIEW |
Updated May 16, 2002 "GOUKAI Na GOJIRA (GODZILLA)" (G.R.F.0800), released in 2000, contains vocal versions of music from the first Godzilla film, as well as many of the native-chant pieces from "King Kong vs. Godzilla", "Varan", "Atragon", "Mothra", "Godzilla vs the Thing", etc. The vocals are sung by a male vocal chorus consisting of Takeo and about ten of his friends, without instruments - even Godzilla's footsteps and roar (Track 1). Sometimes the vocals have words, but more often they are just sounds, as if the voices are instruments themselves.
