March 12, 2000 The music on this CD has a definite Sci-Fi / Godzilla sound to it. I'm not sure of the meaning of the secondary names in this series. This one is SHOCHIKU. Shochiku and Toei are the main competitors of Toho. The music in these tracks are very similar to those in the Godzilla movies and sound close enough to be alternate versions. While there are a few uptempo marches here, most of the tracks are slow, horn & string laden themes reminiscent of the music playing in the original Godzilla film when Godzilla is exposed to the Oxygen Destroyer. This is an enjoyable CD to listen to.
