REVIEW |
July 17, 2008 The music here is pretty undescribable. Suffice to say listening to it for this review gave me a headache. The tracks are made up of abstract electronic soundscapes. Track 1 starts off sounding nice, like something from Pink Floyd, but then turns loud, mechanical with high doses of static. Track two is also contains a high volume and amount of static sounds with what sounds like maybe water percolating in the background. Track 3 includes an endless loop of the Planet X flying saucer sounds from "Monster Zero". Track 4 is probably the easiest on the ears but is very repetitive and clocking in at almost half an hour, very long and drawn out. I'm sure this music may appeal to some, especially those heavily into techno or electronic music, but it wasn't my cup of tea. |
