The original soundtracks of two short films by Takuya Uenishi, a new director who challenges Godzilla, have been released.

With the backing of Toho's production label "GEMSTONE", "Godzilla vs. Megalon", which features Megalon on the 50th anniversary of its birth, is a monster battle in a tag team with video creator Akihiro Shibata, who has attracted attention for "Gifu Godzilla". Currently, the number of views on YouTube is approaching 5 million, and in June it was released theatrically as one of the omnibus films "GEMNIBUS vol.1". The music is a stereo sound source newly produced by the up-and-coming Tsubasa Handa arranged by the music of Akira Ifukube and Riichiro Manabe. A sound source by Takayuki Hattori also appears in the play. (The original mono recording is also included as a bonus.)

In addition, the previous work "Godzilla vs. Gigan Rex", which has over 10 million views on YouTube, adopted the music of Akira Ifukube and Reijiro Koroku from the Heisei series. Beethoven's piano sonata is used for the climax, and the soundtrack includes Wilhelm Kempf's recordings from Deutsche Grammophon.

In terms of artwork, he continues the flow of the "Godzilla Daizenshu" series, which was released to commemorate the 70th anniversary. The theater signboard-style jacket that expresses the era of the Showa and Heisei periods is designed with the image of streaming viewing in Reiwa. On the other hand, it is a double jacket specification that reproduces the Showa style.
