This soundtrack is from the 1962 movie "Sanjuro" which is the sequel to "Yojimbo". The anti-hero is once again played by Toshiro Mifune.

The music on this disc is all Mono but sounds great. As with the "Yojimbo" CD, there are more tracks than minutes of running time. The music here has a darker flavor and is less upbeat and jazzy than "Yojimbo". The main theme running through "Yojimbo" is reprised here but done a little differently. There are also a few tracks with a male vocal chorale in them. Again, a nice sounding disc for a great movie that also works as stand alone music.
