REVIEW |
April 12, 2002 This 1st bonus CD in this set is listed as stereo. The first track is the main theme from "Red Beard" and tracks 2 through 5 are dialogue tracks that sounds as if they are from the same film (based on my faulty memory). These 4 tracks are pretty much devoid of music. Track 6 is a track with female vocals (wailings) in the background mixed with sound effects from the film. I believe this is from "High And Low" (also known as "Heaven And Hell "). Track 7 is another movie dialogue track that is definitely from "High And Low" and is the scene where Mifune receives the call from the kidnappers saying they have his son. He then discovers his son is there and that the kidnappers have mistakenly taken the chauffeur's child instead. Tracks 8 & 9 are also dialogue tracks from "High And Low" with almost no music. Track 10 is almost identical to track 6. Track 11 is a mixture of music and dialogue and track 12 is all dialogue. |
